The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Amazon Parliament (PARLAMAZ) and the Association of Amazonian Universities (UNAMAZ) establishes a partnership to strengthen cooperation in science, technology, innovation, education, research, and knowledge management aimed at the sustainable development of the Amazon.
The agreement provides for joint initiatives, including research and training programs, the promotion of traditional knowledge, participation in international forums, and the development of regional projects through working groups and institutional coordination mechanisms.
The MoU does not create any financial or legal obligations between the parties, remains in force for five years with the possibility of renewal, and represents a commitment to cooperation aimed at strengthening Amazonian governance and regional integration.
